When working at IBM, I used to write articles and papers for various conferences, and magazines. My first paper I co-wrote with a colleague of mine at the time, Linas Vepstas.
In the distant past I ported many applications to MachTen, a unix for the Mac OS 9 and earlier. Here is one reference for Expect. I use Expect quite a bit:

This is pretty funny. Many years ago when I was at Purdue University earning my degree in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering and working for the University, I did up some ASCII art as part of my signature. Someone saved these. Talk about a flash from my past. The signature is under the heading of 5 line signatures, mine is not a very fancy piece of art but some of the others are very nice.
